In "Solarium" I use reflective panels tinted with the three primary colors (red, blue, yellow) to create an environment in which the "guaguas" and the viewers coexist. As I appropriate images from books in my paintings, here I appropriate the reflection of the viewer with the guaguas to document an encounter. In other installations, I focus on reflection and the push/pull of nature versus nurture as a theme.
